hahahaha! ye… udah 2 bulan selamat bersalin. huhuhu! A lots of things happened. Puasa… have to work dalam pantang (.. then the client decided not to collect their album just yet!)… Aqeel Yusuf (my newborn baby)… Adam Hamzah went jealous… Beautconnection ( that need major update & upgrade) … yoga… and me have to work again. Hmmm….

The thing about writing ni kan… my brain always work too fast and wild then my fingers cant catch up lah. How ar? I was so berkobar2 just now then Im stuck again when my fingers start typing. lol.

Anyhoo… am thinking of closing this page. I will displaying my work on more portfolio kind of page. So I dont have to update regularly la kan. Any update will be post up at my facebook la i guess. Senang nk maintain. To friends … add me at facebook la ye. Seacrh for Ayda Khamalrudin.

Salam

Selamat Berpuasa everyone! walaupun saya akan tidak berpuasa bulan ini. huhuhu!

The due date is today but still no sign of delivering the baby yet. I guess he is just like his abang…. suka duduk dalam perut mak. hehe… then dah kuar nanti suka snuggle2. huhuhu!

Well I guess the time is very near. We did our kemas2 and all. Looking forward to meet the new baby but nervous at the same time. Hope everything is selamat. InsyaAllah I’ll be delivering the baby at HTAA. Harap2 la ada kosong kat 1st class. Its first come first serve basis. So that Farooq can be with me at the labour room.

Adam plak instinctnya sgt kuat. Lagi dekat nk ada baby ni makin beriya dia nk manja2. Tido pon kena pelok2. I’ve tried to spend quality times with him as much as I could lately. It was quite a syahdu moments between us sometimes. He has been a good boy for the past two years and will always a good and soleh son forever. I remember when he accompanied me since he was inside my womb. Time tu am more as a full time housewife than a photographer. I enjoyed having him all around 24/7 for that 9 months. Hope me and Farooq will be a good parent to both of our child nanti. Mak Ayah sayang Adam la walaupon dah ada baby baru…

Anyhoo, sempena perginya ku berjuang dan esok start puasa, ku mohon ampun maaf atas suma silap salah. Pray for us ey? Hanya Allah yang mampu membalas.

Hello people!

Pembaziran betol la blog ni tak de update kan? tak ikhlas nak bayar annual fee. hhuhu! Anyhoo…. Ari ni tak de org kat rumah. Mak ayah pegi Medan attend Emi punya convocation. Along and family pegi Kedah sampai next week. Tiah and Adam pegi sekolah. Adam dah pegi sekolah ye? hehehe…. ni gamba ari ni on the way to the school. We got up early today as we had to hantar cik Tiah to the school first. Then we head to Telok Chempedak and had our big breakfast. huhhu! Adam good boy hari ni. Tak nangis dah… betol la ckp mak… kids usually take about a month to adjust to their new environment. Adam start pegi sekolah on the 1st of July and today 28th July dah tak nangis dah. wwoohoo!!! Good boy Adam!

Alamak… org baru nk bercerita tapi dah nk kena kuar plak. Ok la geng… got to go la… ari ni nk jengok studio punya progress. Minggu lepas derang dah pasang platform for the main area. Minggu ni nk pasang tiles and do the wiring. Have to decide on the lighting very soon. Susah btol la nk decide. huhuhu!

Last month I received a call from A** A***. They would like to engage us for an event coverage held in Kuantan. I was like… cool! rezeki… bukannya selalu event besar nk ada kat Kuantan ni kan. huhuhu! Then from time to time… we keep communicating la on hows the arrangement and all.

However, a week before the event, I received an email that they would have to cancel the arrangement due to Tourism Pahang yang sangat baik hati to sponsor photography for the event. I was like… hhmmm….. *frust jugak la kan… *

But I just asked whether we can tag along during the event and take some photos for our portfolio and they said ok. Later, me and farooq were so busy as the event was approaching very near. Farooq have to be in Terengganu that day and I of course no longer appropriate to run here and there shooting with my huge belly. huhuhu! So we just called it off la… nak buat mcm mana kan…

Malam sebelum event, farooq called and said that hes coming back to Kuantan. You know what? Terengganu cuti sebab menang SUKMA. huhuhu!! So he will be available to shoot those faces of VIPs that would look good in our portfolio. heehhe…

I didnt had a good sleep that night. Rasa tak sedap hati je… Siap mimpi2 lagik call farooq tanya hows it going on during the shooting. hahahaha! Gelabah!!! Dah la tido lewat that day but after Subuh i didnt feel like getting back to bed.

And you know what? I received a call at 7am ok? and it was the organizer. huhuhu! “Please say that you are working today Ayda…” she said. cewah! huhuhu! The photographer that should cover the event missed the flight to Kuantan. (tgk la… event kat kuantan pon nk panggil photographer KL! btol tak like what I was saying on the previous entry? Cos its from Key Ell ok? ) Anyhoo…. rezeki kami la… the earlier intention was to be there to menyelit only and now we get paid. uhuhu!! Alhamdulillah…

After hang up the phone… trus pegang perut… and smile to Farooq that this is sure rezeki anak ni…. mcm magic kan? Kuasa Allah… like people use to say… Kalau dah rezeki tak ke mana….

Phewww…. a long day it was…. Baru sampai from our day trip to KL. We arrived Kuantan yesterday from Kuala Terengganu about 10 mins to midnight. Then sorted things out for today’s trip and off to sleep at 3.30am.

Woke up today for subuh then siap2 off to KL after nasik berlauk yang sgt meriah ayah beli for breakfast. huhuhu! We head straight to Shah Alam to meet up with our latest beloved client Nanie. We hand over the vcd for their majlis bertandang reception. Ive been working on her slideshow for 2 days! huhuhu! Oh! and my working hours is 10pm-6am. (When you are working at home and look after your child… you might find your strength hours at odd times)

Anyhoo… went here and there… balik rumah Shah Alam… antar album… amik albums… jumpa suppliers and all…. by 10pm we leave KL heading back to Kuantan. Adam was sleeping soundly at the back seat with his Pooh bear blanket dgn muka yg sgt cheeky. Asyik nk gigit org plak skang nih! I was with him at the back since that the front seat was stacked with boxes of album we just picked up. huhuhu! Album baru!!! woohoo!!! I like…. wink wink

Lately, Ive been receiving few statements from my clients comparing our work with other competitors. Normally, I dont really mind but somehow I found the comparison wasnt quite fair which somehow spoiled my head. (Here goes another thing to think bout.. sigh…) Here is one example… We need to cover a wedding which is about 400km traveling. We do not charge any accommodation fee since that we have a sedara-mara where we can tumpang. Then we dont charge any outstation fee which I am considering very hard whether we should or shouldnt charge in the near future. Later, we also dont really berkira on working extra hours during the wedding. Since dah tak de event lain dah nk cover that day kat situ kan? Say la we charge them for 2k. Mind you this is for 2 session coverage ya. Normally nikah & reception la.

And for the comparison, a wedding photographer who working in KL. They charge 2k per session. Pardon you… per session ya. They would normally charge outstation fee, flight tickets, accommodation and traveling expenses. Total amount if you hire them would easily reach about 4k++. Yet you still find them better than us. Why? Because we are not from KL. You might deny this but double standard happen in any situation.

Ive seen a wedding where they imported everything from KL. Dari pelamin to make up. Oh and only us as the local vendor. Since apa la sgt photography kan. Amik org local sudah la… huhuhu! However, the make up was hideous!!!! and the pelamin wasnt even near at par. Susah btol nk amik gamba which portray it was a beautiful wedding! huhuhu! Yet they were still very pleased. How would it be possible? Ahaa… because these are all from Key Ell you know! hohoho!!!

One of the reason I love photography is because it speaks a universal language. Anyone can translate and give definition of a photo. I would appreciate if people hire us because they love our work and not because they want to reduce their expenses, so by hiring a photographer which are not KL base are just okla…

Its like you sell kropok lekor at KL la jugak.Sedap mcm mana pon yet people will say kropok losong lagi sedap! hahahaha!

Everyone is facing a different issues right? Ive heard some local photographers are whining when there are some KL wedding photographers are charging the same price or lower than us here. This is due to very high competition among them in KL. Kita sama2 carik makan… but killing the market by lowering your prices wouldnt solve the problem. Lambat laun the value also turun .. turun… and terus turun… kita jugak yg rugikan?

Anyhoo…. I also using the same modal sometimes. Album kitarang dari Kel Ell wooo… and people will straight away approve. huhuhu! evetho the kilang is at Penang! ;p

I was so sleepy and thought that I’ll browse just for a while for emails and messages. And guess what, I received unthoughtful msg that made my eyes wide open. b**o btol!

Sigh… i need to do penyucian minda dan jiwa. huhuhu! There are lots of stuff to deal with now. We are behind schedule on everything! how frustrated i am. i really do.

Anyhoo, while all the unsorted flow as terkedek2 as it is… i am so looking fwd for an outdoor portraiture we plan for this weekend. Im afraid you hv to wait for the full story. (takut nanti sampai sudah tak tau apa ey?huhuhu!)

Im not sure where is the direction of this blog now. Since that I pay for the annual fee, rugi plak kan kalau x update. So shout out if you have any idea & suggestion ey?

I need to callos & tidoze now. Adam surely bgn awal and sodok2 to wake me up. Im sorry for this little update. Suma surface je kan? bosan la ayda nih! huhuhu!
